A website isn't a one-time thing.
Domains get stolen. Security holes appear. Dependencies break. SSL certificates expire. Search Console flags issues. The browser updates and breaks something subtle. None of that is rare — it's a normal Tuesday.
If a client takes the site and hosts it elsewhere, I can't guarantee any of this. Bundling hosting is how the integrity of the work gets maintained. The site stays fast. The site stays up. The site stays yours.
And the cost is genuinely low: $150/mo gets you managed hosting, daily backups, security monitoring, and 1–2 hours of edits. Most agencies charge that for the hosting alone, then bill another $150/hr for any edit. I don't do that.
No upcharges. The plan is the plan.
No hidden fees. No "setup fees." No bandwidth overages. No surprise invoices at the end of the year. Edit cap is published. Edit cap is honored. Edits beyond the cap bill at $30/hr — but I'll tell you before that happens.
Higher tiers (SEO & Content Retainer, Listing & Content Updates, Full SEO + Content) include hosting + the additional services in that tier. The hosting itself is always the same — same servers, same speed, same SSL, same backup schedule.
Hosting questions, answered.
Yes. You own the site files. If you want to host elsewhere, I'll hand you everything — code, content, deploy config. The reason most of my clients don't is that bundling hosting is how I can guarantee the site stays fast, secure, and updated. If I'm not in the hosting loop, I can't make that guarantee.
All plans are month-to-month. Cancel any month, no penalty. You keep the site files and can host elsewhere immediately.
I get the alert and respond. Most outages are DNS issues at the registrar level — I can usually fix them within an hour. Hosting platform outages (Vercel, Netlify) are extremely rare and resolved by the platform itself within minutes.
Website Hosting & Maintenance includes 1–2 hours of edits per month. Most months that covers a couple of text swaps and one photo or page update. Additional edits beyond that bill at $30/hr — but I'll tell you before the meter starts.
Text changes, photo swaps, adding a new service blurb or staff member, updating hours, adding a downloadable PDF, changing the contact form, adjusting a page section. New full pages, custom functionality, or major redesigns are project work and quoted separately.
