Built in 14: website design for Puget Sound home service companies

Built in 14

One 30-minute call and your photos. Fourteen days later the site is live, in your name, built to get you found in your cities and to turn the people who find you into calls.

Pinnacle Air Control went from around position 70 to page one for HVAC in their service area. IGo Green Enterprises Inc. went from the 30s and 40s to an average of 17.4, and landed a $20,000 job about a month after the site went live.

What Built in 14 includes

Days, not 3

Why 14 and not 3

Some shops promise a site in three days or a week. That's a template with your logo dropped in. Fourteen days is what it takes to write every page from your reviews, build it by hand, set up your Google Business Profile to match, and run the launch checklist on every page. Faster than that means something was skipped, and it's usually the part that gets you found.

What you get

Included in every build

Hand-coded, no templates

No page builder. It looks like your company, not like the last contractor's.

From our call and your Google reviews. You don't write anything.

Before launch and again at 90 days, so you can see what changed.

Privacy and consent pages

Done right, so you're not the contractor who gets the letter.

Launch checklist on every page

  • Titles, meta, and schema
  • Links and forms
  • Speed on a phone

3 months of Foundation hosting included

Ten things.
Every build.

One price, every build

$4,500

Half to start, half at launch.

I take four builds a month. If the month is full, you're booked for the next one.

Built in 14 timeline

The 14 days, day by day

The discovery call and the discovery form come first and don't count toward the 14 days. The clock starts the day after our kickoff call, once I have your photos.

  1. Days 1 to 3

    Copy

I write the copy for every page from our call and your reviews.

  2. Days 4 to 8

    Build

I build the site by hand.

  3. Day 9

    First Look

You see the design and decide.

  4. Days 10 to 13

    Revisions

Revision round, Google Business Profile, images, and privacy pages.

  5. Day 14

    Launch

I run the launch checklist and the site goes live.

Built in 14 guarantees

Three things I put in writing

  1. Ownership

Your domain, hosting, and Google accounts are opened in your business's name on day one. I hold admin access to do the work. If you ever leave, everything stays with you. No hostage sites.

  2. Built in 14

The site is live within 14 days of our kickoff call and your photos. If I miss it, your first six months of Foundation are free instead of three. The clock pauses for anything neither of us controls, like an outage or a problem at the domain registrar or hosting provider, and for days I'm waiting on you. I'll tell you the day it pauses and the day it restarts.

  3. First Look

At the first design review, if the design isn't what you want, you walk. You don't pay the second half. This is the point where I've done the work and you've seen it, so it's the honest moment to decide.

Built in 14 counts from the day I have your photos and we've done the call. First Look applies when your discovery form is filled in with your services, your cities, and a few sites you like; if I'm building blind, I can't stand behind the first draft. If you walk at First Look, the deposit covers the work done and nothing from the draft is delivered. One revision round is included on every build either way.

Before the build starts

What I need from you

  • The kickoff call

  • The discovery form

Your services, your cities, and a few sites you like.

  • Photos

Your work, your crew, and your trucks.

  • Your logo

    If you have one.

  • Domain access

If you already have a domain.

Built in 14 questions, answered plainly.

That's fine. I point it at the new site at launch and walk you through any DNS changes. The domain stays in your name. I only need access to do the work.

Photography isn't part of the build, so the photos come from you. Phone photos of your crew, your trucks, and finished jobs are what I need. I'll tell you on the kickoff call which shots each page needs, and the 14 days start once I have them.

Foundation keeps running at $150 a month, month to month. You can stay there, step up to Rank, Capture, or All-In, or cancel and take the site with you.

Yes. Three city pages come with the build. More cities get a quick per-page quote before I start, and service area pages are part of the monthly work on Rank and up.

Foundation includes 1 to 2 hours of edits a month, which covers most text and photo swaps. New pages or features get a quick quote before I start on them, so there are no surprises on either side.

One call, your photos, and 14 days.
