Who we are

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly to us when you fill out a contact form, request a quote, or submit feedback. This may include:

• Your name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Information about your project or business
• Any other details you include in your message

With your consent, we also collect standard web analytics data (page views, referral sources, session duration) through Google Analytics, which we load via Google Tag Manager. How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

• Respond to your inquiry and discuss your project
• Send you information you've requested about our services
• Follow up on a consultation or proposal
• Improve our services and website based on feedback

We do not sell or rent the personal information you submit through our forms. Where you have given consent through our cookie banner, we may use analytics and advertising tools (such as Google Analytics and, in the future, remarketing tags loaded through Google Tag Manager) that share limited usage and device data with those providers to measure results and show you relevant ads. You can withdraw this consent at any time via “Cookie settings,” and we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal.

How we contact you

When you submit a form on our website and check the consent box, you agree that ChegTech may contact you about your inquiry by phone, email, or text. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying “STOP” to a text message, clicking “unsubscribe” in any email, or contacting us directly at jonah@chegtech.com.

Form submissions and data storage

Our contact forms are processed by Basin, a third-party form service. When you submit a form, your data is transmitted securely to Basin and delivered to us by email. We retain inquiry data for as long as is reasonably necessary to respond to and fulfill your request.

Third-party services and embeds

Some pages load tools and embedded content provided by other companies. Each operates under its own privacy terms, and each of the non-essential ones below loads only after you accept the matching category in our cookie banner:

• Google Tag Manager & Google Analytics — measure how visitors use the site, and load any analytics or advertising tags we configure (Google Privacy Policy).
• Calendly — the scheduling widget on our contact page, used to book consultations (Calendly Privacy Notice).
• Stripe — loaded by the Calendly widget to support payment and fraud prevention (Stripe Privacy Policy).
• Google Maps — embedded maps on our home, contact, and location pages (Google Privacy Policy).
• Cloudflare Turnstile — an invisible bot-protection check on our forms. This is a strictly necessary security tool and is always active (Cloudflare Privacy Policy).

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies (including the one that remembers your consent choice and our Cloudflare Turnstile security check) are always active because the site cannot function without them. All other cookies — analytics, marketing, and functional embeds — are off by default and load only after you accept them in our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choices at any time via the “Cookie settings” control, and we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. Data retention

We retain contact and inquiry data for as long as necessary to fulfill your request and maintain reasonable business records. If you would like us to delete your information, please contact us at jonah@chegtech.com and we will do so promptly.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email us at jonah@chegtech.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Your consent choices

When you first visit our site, a banner asks whether you accept non-essential cookies and trackers. Nothing in the analytics, marketing, or functional categories runs until you click “Accept” (or enable a category under “Customize”). Declining, closing the banner, or making no choice keeps all non-essential trackers off.
