A short version, in my own words
I’m Jonah. I run ChegTech from Auburn, WA, a one-person web design and SEO agency for local service businesses in South King County and across Western Washington. I started it in June 2025.
I finished my B.S. in Computer Science at Bellevue College in 2025. Before ChegTech, I wrote software for Pierce County’s Financial Department, specifically the Medical Examiner Applications used by the county. I also worked with bitlearns.com, a Brazil-based AI-assisted lecture creation tool for teachers, where I helped build out their analytical dashboard during a 9-month capstone project.
Pinnacle Air Control, an HVAC company in South Hill, went from around position 70 to page one for HVAC in their service area after I rebuilt their site (2026, tracked via SE Ranking). IGo Green Enterprises, a glass installation business in Seattle, landed a $20,000 job about a month after launch after I rebuilt their dated website. Velare Remodeling and Restoration, a Bonney Lake general contractor, was landing clients within two months, including the build.
Every project is end-to-end. I do the design. I write the code. I set up the SEO and the Google Business Profile. I handle the ongoing maintenance. There are no subcontractors and no account managers. When something breaks, you text me. That’s why I can charge $4,500 for a custom site.

What I build with
The stack I use on this site is the same stack I use on yours.
The default for local-business sites is WordPress with a page builder (Elementor, Divi). It works, but the builder layer bloats JavaScript and slows mobile pages down. The custom sites I build, Next.js, Astro, or hand-rolled HTML depending on the project, score 90+ on Lighthouse. For content edits, I pair the build with Sveltia, a git-based CMS that edits plain files in the repo.
